Donations & Teams Update

• Dates will remain in effect. Owners from Season 2 of Madden 2012 have until August 23rd to donate for their team they own from Season 2. You still must let me know if you're keeping your team so we don't get confused when August 24th comes.

• Those that are new, or didn't play all of Season 2 of Madden 2012. You are considered in the 2nd Group. If you're serious in joining the League. Send me a PM so I can give you my PayPal address as I don't want to disclose my address on the forum for that long period of time. In the PayPal message, let me know exactly who you are and I will get to it promptly. Once you have donated the $10 to the League. You will wait until August 24th @ 1pm EST to claim a team by posting on this thread which will be on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have not donated your $10, you cannot post for a team until I receive the $10 in my PayPal accout so I advise that you donate before the 24th of August.

League Balance: $130

Those that are wondering about switching teams, here's some of the answers based on experience running the Madden Leagues.

• Once Week 1 has been been played and you want to switch to a different team. You must donate an additional cost for that team. For example... You donated $8 for the Broncos in August. You already played Week 1 with the Broncos and you noticed that the Packers ($10) are available to the public and want to switch to them starting Week 2. That owner (YOU) must donate an additional $10 to the League to switch teams. No exceptions! If you end up quitting because of your busy schedule or just because you're losing. You will not receive a refund from me. Simply because it's considered wasting my time. The only exception is you can quit the League and receive a full refund before Week 1 is played. Anything after, there's no refunds.
  
• Regarding Owners from Group A. If you decline to not keep your team from Season 2 of Madden 12. You cannot select a random team just because the team you have is expected to drop once Madden 13 finalizes team overall ratings. If an Owner declines their current team, then they will be moved to Group B where it's first-come, first-served starting August 24.
  
• When Owners from Group A & Group B have donated for their teams. You can negotiate with other owners as far as switching teams. Work it out between the both of you, but everything must be finalize before Week 1 kicks off which is still TBA.
  
• Don't forget that this thread on Blu-ray.com is headquarters. We all communicate via thread posts, and Private Messaging and on occasion through PSN. I know some of you have Phone #'s and communicate with text messaging but lets get in the habit of using Private Messaging. I'm cool with text messages but that should be used as a last resort when PM's, or PSN messages are not being replied. Also please do not disclose your Phone #'s on this forum. I'm not responsible if your Phone # falls in to the wrong hands so that's why I strongly suggest that you contact your opponents via PM's, thread posts, or PSN messages. When I do collect Phone #'s, I never disclose them to anyone unless that Owner allows me to.

I'll have a set time for 8/23/12 for the Group A Owners tomorrow. Another words if you don't donate the $10 by a certain time on Thursday. Your team will officially be open and up for grabs starting @ 1pm EST Friday the 24th. Group A Owners had over 2 weeks to decide if they wanted to retain their Madden 2012 teams. That's plenty of time.

Due Date for the 1st Group is Tonight @ 7pm EST. If I receive a donation anytime after. You will automatically be listed in the 2nd Group to pick a team starting Tomorrow at 1pm EST. See the previous posts above for more info.

• If you're a new or veteran owner that has not donated yet when the Team Draft begins on Friday @ 1pm EST. You can post for a team. However, it may not be official since I still have to confirm receipt of the PayPal donation from you. Just make sure you identify yourself in the PayPal message to avoid confusion. Those that donated earlier will have an advantage of picking up their desired team over any new owner that donates on Friday or later. For example, an owner that just donated at 1:01pm, and posts for the Packers. Then shortly a minute later (1:02pm), an owner who has donated earlier this month posts for the same team. That owner who donated earlier will get the Packers. There's so many different scenarios during Team Draft day every year, so I will be the judge who claims that team officially.

Actually, after re-reading, it goes by donation time. So I can post and as long as no one of the 4 before me want it, its mine no matter if someone who paid after me wants it.

For example, an owner that just donated at 1:01pm, and posts for the Packers. Then shortly a minute later (1:02pm), an owner who has donated earlier this month posts for the same team. That owner who donated earlier will get the Packers

Slick it will be first come, first served. I was using an example for someone who just going to donate say @ 1:00 today and post for a team. You'll be fine since you already donated.
