Star Trek (50th Anniversary) Steelbooks (UK)

Bought them all last night, 8 out of possible 10, £3.33 each

£30 for 8 - plus another film I can’t remember the name of right now.

Now just trying to get hold of Wrath Of Khan & First Contact for a decent price - under £15 for the pair.

Amazon have an offer at the moment - 2 for £25. I ordered them both but they are saying Wrath will be in stock in 2-3 weeks, but I doubt it as it looks like all stock is exhausted, so they’ll likely cancel it and end up charging me about £22 for First Contact.

Cancelled the order. £12.50 each is too much for something that I’ll watch once and probably never again.

I’ll just rent the holes from iTunes, if I feel the need or pick them up used for tuppence at some point.

I got them all from Zavvi, and of course paid quite a bit more than that. But being a Trekker, I wanted all 10 and fortunately they arrived without damage.

Tried to order. Right when I hit submit,.. it said it couldn’t deliver to my address (US). I have an account setup with them and it had US address fields. Could have saved me the time by putting that on the bottom of the main page.

I'd never seen this film until this year, and I was stunned. I loved it. Maybe it's all about expectations, but then I was disappointed by Wrath of Khan. I liked the abstract nature of this film/conflict. Gonna have to pick this up on 4k.
