Too bad it may be locked... I have the 2-disc DVD, which does not include the 'Chaplin Today' episode, & perhaps some of the extras that are to be on this disc.

C'mon Criterion...

I will get excited when I know the discs are region free and or become available in the U.S. as well.

Criterion has the rights in the USA now. So, don't worry. They'll be coming eventually.

Any idea why only the Great Dictator and The Kid are being released in the UK while 3 additional titles are being released in Germany? (City Lights, Gold Rush and Modern Times).

Saw The Great Dictator yesterday. What a great movie! Scenes with Napaloni and the last speech are my favourite.
Blu-ray is very good, image is almost completely scratch free, very little noise and sharp image. I don't think they used DNR here, the print is in really good shape.

Has there been any official confirmation that Criterion are actually releasing any Chaplin films?

Really want to get these Chaplin films but if Criterion are releasing them, then I'm willing to wait.
