Yes. Unless it is part of the Studio Canal Collection (and is the same disc available elsewhere), Kinowelt locks their releases and on occasion, forces German subs.

All the Chaplains are up at Amazon Germany except for City Lights. All are listed as Region B. I've gone ahead and pre ordered all of them.

Note: Found City Lights at Alphmusic.de, however they appear to charge Amazon DE like shipping at least to the USA and they also do not remove VAT.

The Chaplins are supposedly coming from Criterion later this year, and I would imagine on blu-ray. Might make more sense just to wait for them.
