Now, really difficult decision..
I have sworn not to double dip on Blurays (unless a film is part of a box and I can't do otherwise).
The 2 first Home Alones are films I watch every Christmas time! I LOVE them!!

I wonder if I should buy the remaster now...
Looking forward to seeing screenshot comparisons.

The 2nd film will be the exact same disc with the first release?

Did they drop the other movies from the set?

Default Where's 3?

Home Alone 3 is the BEST movie in the bunch. Alex D. Linz has a way better personality than Macaulay Culkin and the bad guys are actually believable. The parrot is a better actor than Culkin.

I'm gonna go with the single disc editions. This set looks nice, but I can do without that paint can.

Trolling or not, that's still worthy of a Picard face-palm.

I got my new Blu Ray with the 4k remaster yesterday! Its the german disc. The master will of course be the same in the us.
The old Blu Ray was ok but a little to bright and light dnr was applied.
The new 4k remaster looks stellar and beautiful.
Its darker but it seems more faithful to the source.

I did a comparison between old and new Blu Ray:
http://screenshotcomparison.com/comparison/143371

Looks more organic...more filmlike.
Love it!

Very nice, it is a shame they did not do the same for Home Alone 2

Can't imagine why studios even bother... fix the ugly washed out video colors of an ancient transfer and everyone whines about it.
