Well all the other movies that had changing ratios didn't mention it either, but this was an entire movie in a different ratio.

Has anyone received there's from Zavvi yet? I had my dispatch e-mail two days ago. I'm hoping it'll be here tomorrow...

Not always, plenty of posts over the years of people not receiving a pre-order with a slip and seemed to be completely at random which retailer would offer the better chance however my copies from Tesco Direct always came with a slip so they were my go too company, that was until they closed so now I just go with Zoom as they are the cheapest and deliver early.

Is this likely to be in HMV’s 2 for £25 deal next week, or the week after online? If so, I’ll order it from there.

I don't think Disney titles ever end up in HMV's own deals. It'll be in Disney's own 2 for £15 (?) deal, eventually... probably early next year

if you want a slip why don't you walk into a shop and buy it rather than gambling with online and then moaning about it after?

Some people would want to know which Online suppliers are sending them out with slipcovers, surely?

That's still no guarantee though.

Maybe because I’ve just moved to the country and don’t have a car to get to the nearest store. Even if I did, there’s no where in the town to park, unless I wanted to pay £10 to park in a car park for an hour. Or of course, I could get the bus, but even that costs £9... and I’d rather not have to pay the extra 10 quid just to pop into town and buy a blu-ray

So, how is the audio on this? Is it another one of those Disney mid-terrace mixes?

Infinity War's audio is on the better side of Disney's new releases mixes.

It only needs a little increase in master volume and everything will sound fine. Dynamics, bass and surround effects aren't lacking like other releases at all.

Like other recent Disney Blu Rays you have to turn it up about 10db.

Similar story here. To get to a decent HMV that would have a good chance of sticking what I want entails a 40 mile round trip to Brighton. I wouldn’t have to pay for the bus, as I have a weekly zonal ticket for work that would get me there, but it’s a very long trip: the best part of four hours there and back.

I’ll be in Brighton today for the football, so I’ll see if I can get Isle of Dogs with a slip. The pre-order I did with HMV arrived without one so was returned. But it’s a faff carrying stuff into the stadium. I’ll be searched on the way in, and then I’ll have to balance it on my seat so it’s not dislodged and trodden on during any potential goal celebration.

First world problems, to be sure, but when you’re in the sticks, buying physical media from actual shops can be a time-consuming process.
