No slip for me too on the 3D. Day one you would expect the slip I would have thought?

Not always, plenty of posts over the years of people not receiving a pre-order with a slip and seemed to be completely at random which retailer would offer the better chance however my copies from Tesco Direct always came with a slip so they were my go too company, that was until they closed so now I just go with Zoom as they are the cheapest and deliver early.

Amazon UK have been terrible with Disney slips over the last 6 months or so, so I'm completely avoiding them for this one.
I've just moved over to the UK, so I'm wondering where is best to order the 3D and hopefully get a slip? Where are people receiving their slips / where are people not getting slips? HMV? Zoom? Zavvi? Or will it be better just to go into store? Last edited by starkrogersthor91; 08-31-2018 at 02:04 PM. |

HMV are good for slips. Sign up for their Pure card and you get points which build up for in store vouchers, plus I think daily at the moment they are offering certain 4K releases instore for £9.99 with the Pure card |

Would you know if I can use the Pure card at HMV's Fopp stores? There's a Fopp in town where I am at the moment, no idea where the nearest HMV is. |

It depends on the store or staff, but most accept them (as far as I know), but I'm not sure if you can sign-up in-store, as I've never been to one!

Is this likely to be in HMV’s 2 for £25 deal next week, or the week after online? If so, I’ll order it from there.

if you want a slip why don't you walk into a shop and buy it rather than gambling with online and then moaning about it after?

Some people would want to know which Online suppliers are sending them out with slipcovers, surely?

The two Fopp stores I go to regularly don’t swipe the Pure card anymore, but you can validate the receipt online and receive points for the total spend. You don’t get double points through Fopp unfortunately, that’s only at HMV.

Maybe because I’ve just moved to the country and don’t have a car to get to the nearest store. Even if I did, there’s no where in the town to park, unless I wanted to pay £10 to park in a car park for an hour. Or of course, I could get the bus, but even that costs £9... and I’d rather not have to pay the extra 10 quid just to pop into town and buy a blu-ray

It only needs a little increase in master volume and everything will sound fine. Dynamics, bass and surround effects aren't lacking like other releases at all. |
