Given the success of this and GvK, I feel like the more fantastical and upbeat tone is here to stay. The serious tone similar to 2014 will probably be applied to Monarch season 2 instead.

I’m rather desperate for this. The cartoony, wink-at-the-camera lane for this series has gone as far as it can compellingly go. I ache for real awe and frightening stakes again.

So is this going to have IMAX scenes for the streaming version?

Health issues mean I've missed a bunch of releases at the theater & was really looking forward to this in 3D which isn't happening. Now I'll even miss out on IMAX scenes?

Maybe in the Asian market, where that's a common thing on the streaming services there, but not in the US.

What? Big studio releases are identical across all territories. Can't think of a single movie that had an IMAX digital release exclusive to this "Asian market".

The IMAX Enhanced content program is mostly for the Asian and European markets, where the IMAX brand and the affiliated TV companies and streaming services are prominent, while the US market confines IMAX to the Disney+ service for the most part.

Ok, so what are these IMAX Enhanced Movies released on Rakuten or whatever? Cause the only platforms that carry movies with IMAX ratio are Disney+ and Sony's BRAVIA CORE.

Anybody know how hard it is to get the Walmart Steelbooks? If you pre order will you get it or is it like Best Buy and even if you pre order it there's not stock and you just wait and have to cancel?

I have only been pre-ordering Walmart Steelbooks recently (since Best Buy exited), but I have received all of my pre-orders so far except for one pre-order that was cancelled well in advance of the release date by Walmart due to a glitch in their system. Walmart compensated me for the mistake, though so I was able to buy from somewhere else (was not a Walmart exclusive). Guess time will tell how this pans out in future.

That's disappointing I pre ordered it a while ago as soon as it went up. Hopefully the regular 4K doesn't have limited supply this seems to be happening with 4K releases. Just happened with Obi-wan it's out of stock most places and same with the Conan 4K release.
