Anybody know how hard it is to get the Walmart Steelbooks? If you pre order will you get it or is it like Best Buy and even if you pre order it there's not stock and you just wait and have to cancel?

I have only been pre-ordering Walmart Steelbooks recently (since Best Buy exited), but I have received all of my pre-orders so far except for one pre-order that was cancelled well in advance of the release date by Walmart due to a glitch in their system. Walmart compensated me for the mistake, though so I was able to buy from somewhere else (was not a Walmart exclusive). Guess time will tell how this pans out in future.

That's disappointing I pre ordered it a while ago as soon as it went up. Hopefully the regular 4K doesn't have limited supply this seems to be happening with 4K releases. Just happened with Obi-wan it's out of stock most places and same with the Conan 4K release.

The ones I remember where this was a huge issue were the Cameron 4Ks and Oppenheimer

I've been predicting that Dune Part 2 and Boy and the Heron will have a very similar stock issue

Yes I forgot a few of the Cameron ones were the same I really hope this one isn't like that I want this 4K.

I guess I have to get the steelbook version if I want standard BD disc included. I don't like 4K UHD BD only disc.

We are about to find out the difference between Best Buy and Walmart on hot new release steelbooks.

I personally believe Walmart gives steelbooks a much lower priority than Best Buy did.

This reportedly has an incredibly flawed sound mix on some digital providers (some dialogue is out right inaudible) I'm hoping this isn't the case on the physical version

Do you know what scenes or how many? I just bought it on Vudu only watched the first 20 minutes or so no issues yet.

I read online from people who had the issues that it started halfway through the film

I just finished it had no issues with the sound but like you said could be certain digital providers I used Vudu and looked and sounded Great.
