Amazon currently has this for $18.96 at the moment. Do you think anywhere else will have a better price? And if not would it be better to buy in store or from Amazon? Either way I'm paying taxes on it.

Now I'm torn between 2D and 3D. I'll probably get the 2D because of the price.

Yeah, I don't care about 3d, so it's a good price for me. I checked when it comes out and I see no reason why I would need to go out to get it (I usually go to the movies on Saturday, and nothing comes out that week that interests me) Especially when I can have Amazon deliver it. either way $20 for a new release is a hell of a deal.

I really no have interest in 3D...none. It just isn't my thing. That said, if it really does ever take off, I don't want to re-buy things, so if something I really like comes out with a 3D version and the 3D video gets a great review, I'll usually grab it in case I change my mind.

However, this review pretty clearly states the 3D isn't even that noticeable, so I'm more than happy to save $10 and get it for $19 at Amazon.

I have it pre-ordered, but left 1 in my cart in case I get lucky with a GB deal knocking it down another $1.

I don't really like rebooting something, especially something not very old, but Spider-man is my favorite of the comic book super heroes, this got pretty good to very good reviews and Emma Stone is in it. Can't wait to see it.

You have to link your uv account to your vudu account. It's weird because every other Sony movie I have an UV for on vudu has the hd available except spiderman.

I have no use for 3D either, but I really like the steelbook. It is about $8 more, but I'll just sell off the 3D disc to offset the cost a bit.

Gotta pass on the Gift Set since Christmas spending will be a big one this year. I'm fine without the display figurines. I'll still pick up the standard release next friday.

I ordered the 2D from Amazon. Can't pass up for that price. I'm really interested in the hour and 1/2 documentary that's included.

I'm friends with the guy at a local Walgreens and am sold whichever new releases they get early. It's a Walgreens, so they mostly get DVDs of big titles and Blu-rays of even bigger titles.
