I'm going to go ahead and call BULLSHIT! I was here all morning and I get an e-mail stated a delivery has been attempted? I called the local post office and they said they probably will not get my package until tomorrow. EFFFFFF YOU!!!!! GOD DAMN IT I JUST WANT MY MOVIES ALREADY!!! by the way, no notice card of delivery in my mailbox and no note on the front door.

Dude, I ordered on Jan 22nd, and given that mine still hasn't even been processed, it might not arrive till next week, judging by your timeframe. That would mean 18+ days for delivery. Ugh.

My order arrived the same day as the e-mail response from SIG Customer Service lol. I never received a shipping confirmation until this e-mail. So all 15 blus arrived safe and sound. I had to go to the post office to pick it up though, since SIG requested that it not be left at the door (don't blame 'em, $250 worth of product...).

yeah, i too would feel safer picking up the movies from p/o. too much money to risk leaving in the mail.

yeah..the delivery slip. It was sitting in my mailbox and it said to go back the next day to pick it up. However, the PO nearest my place is Shoppers Drug Mart and they close at 9...so I figured it would be back there by 8PM. Went and voila..it was there...

I've done this twice now....once for the SIG order, and last night for Band of Bros from Amazon.com

I'm having the same issue. I placed my order on Jan 22. As of Feb 4 there was no notice at my condo about the package - that's 13 days. I never have these issues with amazon.ca shipping (always the free one):

yesterday would have been 10 business days for me, order finally came in. apparantly canada post attempted a delivery but i wasn't home (I WAS!) picked up this morning and i'm really impressed with the way SIG boxed up my order and shipped them. all BDs are in great shape, not a single bump no damaged packaging.

would order again!

Not sure 'funny' is the word I'm looking for, but it's kinda funny how in anticipation of orders we've all started worrying and borderline panicing, thinking of worst case scenario from these guys. Then the BD's arrive properly and everything's golden again.

I know that summed up my first experience with them, but I suppose since it ended well that's what matters.

Guys, a heads up with Canada Post. Every package that requires a signature, they don't try to drop it off at your door, but would just leave a notice for you to pick up.(LAZY of them)I know cause all my packages are with Canada Post... thought i did wish they show up at my door

they don't. Since most people are not home if a signature is required all you get is the piece of paper. That is why, at least for me, the "you can pick it up after X on day Y" is always before the notice was delivered. I got caught with it the first time "mm, did I not hear the doorbell? maybe the guy made a mistake on the date, there is no way he could have driven it back for 9:00 AM, I will go tomorrow to be safe"

Actually, they don't even deliver to your door. They only deliver the notice to let you know that there is a pick-up at the post office.

Got mine yesterday... emerged from marathon viewing session today.

Discs were bundled nicely in plastic, no complaints, everything in order. Will do business with them again if there is another good sale.

Yeah I was considering Caspian but the $10 shipping is a real killer.

It's only worth it if you buy several movies.
