Default Blu-ray on a Mac... HL-DS GBW-B10N

So, I just watched this video over at mac video:

http://www.macvideo.tv/dvd-authoring...eviewid=101802

The reviewer uses an external LG drive on a mac and shows that although it may not have HD movie playback capabilities it does work for archiving.

I had a cursory look for one online but without much luck. I did find an external version of the GBW-B10N (which I believe is an LG/Hitachi (HL-DS) unit).

Does anyone have any experience with this. Looking it up online it seems to normally be an internal laptop drive, but the version for sale (ebay) is in an enclosure.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks. Guess it's better to buy an enclosure and the drive seperate. Still no idea if it works on a mac though...

Hmm.
