sorry to sway theard off topic a lil but i couldent find any were els we always hear about the bd-j for stand alones being great or some one needing new frim ware to use the newest bd-j how the suport for bd-j on pc drives and the ps3s?

The only bad thing about this burner is that it doesn't support BR dual-layer writing.

Holy smoke, that drive is on sale for $379 right now at FutureShop. I'd buy it but it appears they don't ship to USA.

What will be the sweet price spot that everyone will jump in ?

For me it would be BD-DL for $200. Not sure how long it will take. For now, I will watch my BD directly from PS3 and my HTPC
