Here is the video- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oACt9R9z37U
I think this is leaps and bounds better than the Wii ( just from seeing it on youtube). What does everyone else think???? I hope Sony comes out with something like this for the PS3, because i'd much rather have it for that system... I keep thinking.... what in the world will they come out with next.... I also wonder how much it's going to cost.... Last edited by SellmeyourDVD; 06-10-2009 at 06:49 PM. |

I reckon PS3s will pip it but i got to say, Nintendo is right when they say Sony & M$ are late to the motion sensing game with these controls
It's definitely somethig they will have day 1 on the Next gen consoles but i reckon the fad will be dead somewhat & normality restored but will be nice to see some games featuring this if implemented right Anybody else think theres just room for too much confusion if people decide to try & take over with their own hand movements with Natal & also space will be an issue if you need to travel a big distance, how will it deal with that I will reserved judgement on Natal till i see it with better implementaion but Sony's was really good & worked well, it's still got some extra stuff they need to show as to how they'll implement it into a whole action game cause tbh, the Wii doesn't cut it in the graphics department Last edited by NARMAK; 06-10-2009 at 06:56 PM. |

i hope you were kidding with that pre staged comment. they all were pre stage rehearsed demos. how was sony's demo not pre staged? anyway, while sony's does look nice and promising, the natal live demo, even though corny and cheesy with the painting has the cool and wow factor going on about it.

More BS from Microcrap.
If they can get the thing to work it will be awesome, but it's Microsoft, they will release it if it works or not. The "Family" video they showed with the kid playing the fighting game & skateboarding was all fake. It's nothing more then a pre-rendered video. I love when the kid holds the skateboard up to the camera and says "scan" his fingers are covering the board but are not on the image after its scanned. Milo was all smoke and mirrors. The people that got to play with him behind closed doors said there was a guy in the corner with a controller pupeteering Milo. The people trying the demo were told to do exactly what they saw in the the demo. Milo doesn't recognize your voice because Natal can't do voice recognition yet, but suposadly in the future. During the demonstration when the guy waves his hand his avatars hand bends backwards and freaks out. Also when he says "Ever wounder what the bottom of an avatars foot looks like" and lifts his foot, again the avatar freaks out. The only thing Microsoft showed that worked was ricoshay. Again IF they can get it too work like they say it can then I am IN! But after what they show (smoke and mirrors) I'm skeptical. Sony at least got up on stage and showed nothing but tech demo's to prove there technology. |

My initial reaction to this style of playing games is "it looks stupid," but I thought the same thing about the Wii before playing it a few times and becoming hooked. I think I would like to be able to hold something, though. No controllers at all almost seems too radical. I mean holding your hands up as if they're gripping a steering wheel? That's a bit much. Some of the other stuff, like kicking a soccer ball, makes sense, since there's nothing you'd be holding in that scenario anyway and are just reacting to the track of the ball and performing the kick motion. Boxing is another one that would work in this sense.
