Default PS3 audio problem reported by many with no fix at all in sight...

It is widely reported over the net that the PS3 has an audio problem creating a hissing or humming sound (search ps3 hiss problem) from all channels in a surround system set up at louder volumes when set to LPCM. By the way just like with everyone else on the net this is the only component connected to the receiver that has this issue. Obviously the problem has not been fixed because the older posts are from 2007 and it's 2009, and I've had my PS3 since launch and still hear the hiss which by the way if you have even semi decent speakers you can hear. It has nothing to do with receiver issues, amp power, lower watts, under powered speakers, crossed lines, dirty power or AC issues, the internal PS3 volume setting, the HDMI cable being used including what version is being used(which is 1.3 by the way), or lastly optical problems. It is simply the PS3 has either a cheaper quality audio processor or, Sony is not aware of the issue, but I cant see how that is considering the problems been reported for the last 2 years, so it increasingly looks like it's the hardware. Well unless someone has any non noob suggestions it looks like the PS3 will be used for a video game console and only that because it's run as a blu-ray player seems to have expired, especially when sound has become increasingly more important to me, and this hiss is too annoying, I think it's time to buy another stand alone (LG BD-390 here I come). Again if anyone has any idea or suggestion feel free to give me a hint, but please no suggestions that have to do with what I've listed because it is none of those problems, trust me all of these issues have been tested many times by myself and others...
