not familiar with the workings of the 1018, but on the sony i have there is an audio sync feature where you can manually adjust the dialog to speed up or down to match what is on the screen, see if you have that too and try playing with it.

Does either the 1018 or the KURO have a PLQS option? this will eliminate any delay's caused by timing errors. I think this is refered to as "jitter"
or maybe a "synchronization mode"? |

Setting the Audio options
There are a number of additional sound settings you can make using the Audio Parameter menu. The defaults, if not stated, are listed in bold. Important • Note that if a setting doesn’t appear in the Audio Parameter menu, it is unavailable due to the current source, settings and status of the receiver. 1 Press RECEIVER, then press AUDIO PARAMETER. 2 Use Up/Down to select the setting you want to adjust. Depending on the current status/mode of the receiver, certain options may not be able to be selected. Check the table below for notes on this. 3 Use Left/Right to set it as necessary. See the table below for the options available for each setting. 4 Press RETURN to confirm and exit the menu. Setting What it does Option(s) MCACC DELAY (Sound Delay) Some monitors have a slight delay when showing video, so the soundtrack will be slightly out of sync with the picture. By adding a bit of delay, you can adjust the sound to match the presentation of the video. 0.0 to 6.0 (frames) 1 second = 30 frames (NTSC) Default: 0.0 http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/St...ctions0610.pdf Page 71 Last edited by JasonR; 06-29-2009 at 02:41 PM. |

I've been f*cking with this option all sunday. I couldnt get it to sync. Was getting frustrated. Let me try again tonite.
So how does this work. 1 second means .3 or is it 3? And what does that mean u can change the delay by 2 seconds if its 3? Last edited by Al Bundy; 06-29-2009 at 03:01 PM. |
