I'm usually hanging out at Hooters (open to all ages) or an 18+ juice bar

Default Most emotional resonant scenes in movie/tv

I'll start with the scene in City of Ember where the heroes see something for the first time, something that is very ordinary to us but in the context of the story, very amazing.

And also the scene in Angels and Demons where the caramelengo guy goes
[Show spoiler]up in heli. The visual and the music during this scene is just perfect. Its the perfect crescendo and climax. Even though we later learn a twist, I think the scene is still very emotionally resonating when we just think about it from the perspective of those who never learn the twist and also from the perspective of the caramelengo guy (who is at least earnest in his doings)

I recommend putting *SPOILERS* in the title of the thread. Had I not seen Angels and Demons already, that would have ruined the movie for me.

Sorry. I don't think I can edit the title though.

Could you do it for me? I have no idea who is the mod for this forum. I know about one supermod and I'm sure he's busy.

good idea, didn't think of that for some reason. I wish those tags could be put in the buttons when you post so you don't have to write them out

I watched a HK film last night called Who's the Woman, Who's the Man? There was a pretty good emotional scene near the end and I came to love the movie because of it.

One that gets me the most is in the episode "Why We Fight" in Band of Brothers... after they find the camp and start feeding everyone, and then Leibgot has to tell them all from the back of the truck that they have to be put back in the camp until they can figure out what to do with them. It gets me every time.

A certain scene in the LOST season finale involving Juliet and Sawyer. I swear it's the first time a TV show had me sobbing.

Oh, there are SO many! Here's a recent one...

I watched Speed Racer with my son again this morning. The conclusion of the final race scene (volume raised up), with movie flashbacks, is so intense that it gives me goosebumps! The Wachowski Brothers really have gotten visual and emotional intensity down.

Please, Warner Brothers, re-release this title with a lossless audio track!

Forrest Gump. The dramatic final part where forrest was speaking to "WARNING TO THOSE WHO HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOVIE" JENNY after she was burried. and My Dog Skip was very emotional at the end too.

Hmm. Not emotional as in crying but THE scene in Irreversible will forever be stuck with me.
