Thumbs up Finally got a PS3!
Hello i am new to this website & PS3. I just purchased a 80gb PS3 with MGS4 & Killzone 2. I also bought Uncharted,InFamous & pre ordered Madden 10. With the preorder you get 10 dollars off any PS3 game so i put it towards GTA IV.

So those are the games i have as of now, no Blu-Rays as of yet.

My PSN is same as my screen name here SIL3NTxWAR

At Best Buy. I was looking at there games for pre order. I ended up putting the 5 down on Madden 10 and there was a sign that said pre order Madden 10 get 10 $ off any game 29.99 and up so i just got GTA IV. I might pre order Uncharted 2 also later. It said if you pre order uncharted 2 you get exclusive golden weapons or something like that?

The woman at Best Buy said i had 30 days to come back and get the 2 year extended warranty for 59.99. I'm thinking about that one dunno if i will or not yet.

And yes i hear alot of good things about little big planet also. Might get that too. I want to get a couple blu-rays too....I feel sorry for my bank account right about now...

Get the warranty. Exchanging a ps3 in-store is very convenient if you happen to be that 0.02% unlucky ones.

Don't feel too sorry for your account, I'm sure you'll work extra hard for Ken Kutarigi's ps3.

Sony's manufacturer warranty for the PS3 is 1 year and if your PS3 goes bad it will most likely be within the first year. If the unit needs service after the first year, Sony will perform an out-of-warranty repair for $150. The $60 you would spend now is only insurance against the unlikely event that your PS3 would need service in your second year of owning it. It's your choice of course, but I think your money would be better spent on another game or some blu-rays.
