Default Steve Vai- First BD release in 720p?!?
Yes I'm a fan. Yes it will be in my collection. But, a Blu with only 720p? Can that even be considered a real BD? I've not seen a BD with 720p, has anyone else? What's to be expected with PQ? I'm a bit surprised by the Vai camp on this one. Especially coming after the stellar release from Iron Maiden. Maybe it was a typo, but part of the appeal of Blu-ray is getting that 1080p experience. Not sure what company is behind this release, other than Vai's own Favored Nations, but at least Eagle Rock Entertainment gives you 1080i, if not 1080p! This makes me a little nervous as to the quality. Feel free to calm me down.
