Default Question about a wirelless LAN

I have a Samsung 5.1 Blu-ray Home Theater System. It has the Netflicks and Pandora music loaded. I have a wireless router in my home. My manual says that my unit is compatible with only Samsung Wireless LAN Adapter (Model WIS09ABGN). Is this true? Or is Samsung just trying to get you to purchase another Samsung product? I see other Wireless LAN devices that are less expensive....

Thanks-
Frank

Try the less expensive one. If it doesn't work then return it.

All the standalone Samsung BD players work with any brand adapter/bridge. I don't see why this would be any different. They may be harder to set up though, a friend of mine had to call Linksys tech support to get his working with the BD-2550. He's not very tech savvy though, so you may have less trouble.
