Default Does Wal-Mart honor its online prices--I, Robot?

Sorry if this has been covered many times before--somewhat of a Noobie. I'm just starting my blu collection and noticed I, Robot is available for $12.86!

If Wal-Mart honors this online price in store, this sounds like a great deal based on the blu-ray.com review.

Thanks. Well, my next question was does Best Buy (in store) match Wal-Mart's online prices? I thought I saw that somewhere on here, but it wouldn't make sense if Wal-Mart doesn't even match its own online prices.

I know my Best Buy does match its own online prices.

99 % of BB's will price match the WM website, all you need to do is take the printout with you. Or you have the option of Doing site to store on WM.com

Really? I've been to at least 3 different Best Buys that wouldn't pricematch Wal-Mart's website for me.

Should have taken the $4.25 "Monster" blu-ray print out and had BB PM it, but I had faith in Walmart.com.

Thank you all for the input. I guess I'll just give it a try & print it out & take it up to BB. Doesn't hurt to try.

When TDK came out on blu-ray in Dec 2008 the store was selling it for 2.00 bucks more. I am glad I did my research and said well according to your website its this price. They definately honored the price on their own website. To me it sucks if places will not honor their online prices. It is their company number 1. If companies will not honor their own online prices, I for one will not shell out one penny more to have it on release date.

Just buy it online and do free site-to-store shipping if they will not match their online price. I have done this a number of times with Blu-Ray discs.

Best Buy will price match Walmart.com ONLY if the product is also sold in store. If it says Online Only they'll not price match.

I know that some BB will call the nearest Walmart store to check the price mine doesn't even though it is right next to one.

check first in store if available, sometimes BB will call the store to verify in stock product, last time I PM on BB they do it no questions asked with print out (just pg 1), the legend find it in stores save me as out of stock online was stated also

I talked to a guy that worked at Wal-mart because I saw Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Season 1 on blu-ray for $32.xx but they wouldn't match the online price. He told me it's because different Wal-marts are competing with each other. But ack_bak above is correct. You can buy it online for the cheaper price and then have it shipped to your closet Wal-mart for free.

As for Best Buy not price matching WM's Online prices, I have never had them not price match. Hell, the BB by my place even price matches Costco sometimes. So what I do is have BB price match WM so I get the cheaper price, and then I also earn reward points at BB.
