Default Can Onkyo 605 handel the Polk 60's?

I have the polk rm6750 and I just pulled the trigger on cs1, My receiver is onkyo 605, I'm planning to upgrade my front anytime soon.

Can my 605 handle the 50's or even 60's?

Thanks in advance!

Sure. From the Polk Monitor 60's specs:

Quote:
Recommended Amplifier Power 20 - 200 w/channel
You could run pretty much any Polks with the 605, with the exception being the LSi series. They're a 4 Ohm speaker, and it's doubtful the (North American) 605 would be able to drive them adequately without burning up.

Having said that, you could do better than the 605, but it will certainly do the job. I'm using one now, but I'm planning to upgrade in a couple of months.

Just echoing Fireman325's answer.

No problem whatsoever on the Monitor 60s. Fire away!
