Wireless Headset/Mic and Keyboard Recommendations - Blu-ray Forum

I'm meeting a lot of online friends while playing my favorite PS3 game Battlefield: Bad Company and I keep getting asked if I have a microphone to which I sadly reply, "No".

So, I'm thinking of purchasing a good headset with good clarity and a keyboard preferably a handheld kind. Does anyone have any recommendations?

BTW, I just wanna greet everyone...

Sony makes a good head set and thumb pad. I have the thumb pad and it's awesome. I just use my Jabra headset with the PS3 though since I already had it.

I have nothing but great things to say about the Bluetooth PS3 headset that Sony makes with the recharge dock. Great product.

Official headset is top notch quality. Don't cheap out and get a cheap bluetooth headset or else everyone on the otherside of it just hears garbled noises.

I use a Logitech Wireless Bluetooth headset that works great. I was using my Jabra bluetooth earpiece but i found that having in your ear for more then thirty minutes started to hurt. The logitech headset is alot more comfortable. And i got it for 35 bucks when Circuit City was going out of business. It retailed for over 65. Here's the site:

LOL i never realized they marketed it for the PS3.

So Sony official headset is the way to go. What about a keyboard? It's tedious using the D-Pad all the time to text

Logitech makes a good keyboard. USB or Bluetooth. I have the wireless with the UBS and it was like $20 and works great. I have a Plantronics Bluetooth earpiece and had nothing but good things from people on how it sounds.

Add another to the official headset and keypad. I have both and have nothing but great things to say about it! They just work perfect.

the ps3 official blu headset sucks.
after 15 minutes it feels like you have razors in your ear.

pay a couple of $$$ more and get the one i posted a pic with above.
its so comfortable and very light on your head......plus its wireless

speak for yourself, the headset fits perfectly on my ear and the sound quality is top notch, also my friends tell me they can hear me very clearly compare to the others online..plus is also wireless

had the jabra that came with warhawk but then upgraded to the ps3 official headset, the ps3 headset is amazing!

how easy it is to type with?

and does it fall of if you push to hard on the keys?

it doesnt fall off

it clips around the entire controller and stays firmly in place

the keys are a good size. takes a day or so getting used to it but then youre on your way texting with ease

my G1 Tmobile keys are about the same size as the ps3 keypad.

i dont ever take the keypad off the controller as now im used to the added weight of it

the L1, R1, L1, R2 buttons arent blocked one bit nor is the keypad in the way of accessing any buttons

it clips over the start, select & ps button on the front of the controller, and a clip comes aorund the top
