Default What Movies do you see from this Decade receiving a remake in 20-30 years time?

Remake's are a thing most people on this forum hate, but there is no denying they are here to stay.

So what film from this decade do you reckon will be remade in later years.

With more advance technology which will more than likely cheaper, therefore being able to create more insane stuff we struggle imagine nowadays.

And with the threat of 3D taking off with avatar, making us want more of an immerse experience, it's hard not to think of swinging though new york with spiderman being around in those years?

Films I think will be remade-300, as zack snyder would of come out the closet back then.
spiderman-reasons above
watchmen-cheaper cgi

long shot at getting remade-2012

Batman and all other superheroes movies will be redone in the future that is a given.

I could see someone thinking he can remake LOTR in 25 years or so.

It would be hard for anything that was done as more than a single film to be remade as I doubt studios even 25 years from now would want to invest that kind of money. Though LOTR and The Matrix could be possibilities. It would probably be something that wasn't big in the theatres but developed a following.

Something like the Fifth Element or any of Tarantino's films.

Aside from possibly some comic book movies I can't really see that many movies of this decade being remade.

To be completely honest, I don't see a single one of those listed being remade in 20-30 years. Just my opinion.

The Lives of Others, which is one of the best films ever made, is already in talks to be remade. So is the Swedish film The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.

I think it is safe to say that superhero films will constantly be remade, as will horror films.

Exactly: The only reason we're getting remakes now is nostalgic generational pining for the 70's and 80's...
Back when we used to see movies in theaters.

I will hate the day I see a Star Wars remake. This will not be good news for the fans.

The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo is, IMO, one of the best books I've ever read. Yet I didn't even know there was a movie. I'll have to check it out.

A few that I could see being remade are:
In Bruges
Lucky Number Slevin
The Proposition

Basically stuff that didn't do too well at the box office, but did do well on home video.
