Next year will be Back to the Future's 25th anniversary. I have a feeling we'll be seeing it on Blu soon.

The Soundtrack has been avaialble for some time, including most of the songs prominantly featured in the movie (i.e. Power of Love, Back in Time, Earth Angel, Johnny B. Goode...). Amazon has it right now:

Some of the primary score/theme is on there as well, but it's not the complete score from the entire movie.

I very much look forward to this release! The Back to the Future films are pretty much my all time favorite movies (to hell with this 'which trilogy was better, Star Wars or LOTR?' nonsense... it's all about BTTF!), and I very much look forward to getting this full score.

Just got my copy in today! Man, this is beautiful! The packaging, the extensive liner notes and the sound quality are all top notch!

Is there any particular reason why this is $30? This shouldn't be anymore than $20. I was all set to order and was kind of flabbergasted to find that it's so much. Other scores I've bought from Intrada or FSM have usually been $19.99 or less.
