Default When will the other Bonds be finally released in Europe

(I edited this post since I initially listed 2 Bonds that haven't been released even in the US!! Sorry)

As an avid Bond fan I was very happy about the first 9 classic Bond Movies being released.

Sadly the other 2 original Bond movies that have been released in the US, namely: Licence to Kill and Man with the Golden Gun, are not available in Europe yet.

Also the "Fake" Bond "Never say never again" is also not available here.

Further more there are of course plenty of titles still missing..

Does anyone know what's keeping MGM/Fox from releasing them?

Both are out in Norway as part of the unofficial 4th box-set with Quantum of Solace. I have them both in my collection... and I have only Norwegian releases.

The only one not available is Never Say Never Again.

Just today I noticed that Box set is available in Germany too..

It contains: Quantum of Solace, Man with the Golden Gun & License to Kill

here is the link

The funny thing is that amazon.de itself doesn't have it

It looks like they had it in stock and don't seem to have it anymore, judging from the way a couple of other people are selling it on the item page. I checked on ebay and there is one single copy of License to kill on it. I really want to get the Bond films on bluray but this sporadic release schedule really puts me off, of course they will probably release a super blu boxset once Bond 23 comes out. In nice slim packaging I'm sure

Atleast one onlineshop in Finland (verkkokauppa.com) seems to have both The Man With The Golden Gun and License To Kill as separate releases.

I didn't care for Dalton back in the 007 days but now I was thinking of getting atleast one 007 of all the different actors, so is License To Kill the best Dalton 007 film?

Now I have Goldfinger (Connery) and For Your Eyes Only (Moore).

MGM is fighting bankrupcy, so all of their titles are in limbo. Could be a while. OR they will sell off their catalog to another studio.

I think The Living Daylights is far better than License to Kill (in fact, I think it is one of the top 5 Bond films ever), but it is not yet out on Blu Ray.

You should re-visit the Dalton movies (esp TLD), many people are looking back at him now with more appreciation than they did in the late 80s. Especially after seeing the weak Brosnan movies, Dalton makes a very strong 007.

well Fox distributes the titles so even though MGM is in trouble it could be a Fox issue.
who knows.
I keep wondering if Fox will continue to be able to distribute the already released titles after the MGM asset sale or will they all go OOP immediately.
we all know that the Bonds are done being encoded etc. etc so is Fox waiting for the next film to release the rest or does MGM decide?
I don't think anybody knows.
It's a mess is what it is.

btw Licence To Kill is not only the best Dalton Bond imo, but it's also one of the very best Bond films full stop.

Would be nice to see the rest of the Bond movies on Blu-ray this year. They look very good on Blu-ray, and I never get tired of watching the movies.

Really looking forward to Octopus sy and A View To A Kill.
