I was surprised to see that too. I thought it was a decent comedy, kind of forgettable but a lot of good lines and moments. So to answer your question

there is nothing about this being released on bd. paramount's website has dvd only, livehardsellhard.com has dvd info only. you can sign up on amazon to be notified when/if it gets released.

Its weak box office probably made Paramount put it off for now. It's a shame, I wanted to see it.

Really sucks to hear. There have been movies WAY worse that have made it to Blu Ray. While this wasnt anything special.. I did really enjoy Piven in this! God damn it give me a blu release.

I saw this movie in theaters and was really looking forward to picking it up on blu-ray. While it definitely isn't for everyone, it is far from being the worst comedy to be released on BD. One of my brothers is a cheesy used car salesman, so I personally loved almost every second of this movie. Too many parallels to list

that might be possible but Best buys website only lists the DVD as well no blu-ray on there either. Oh well I will just rent the DVD for now if it is ever released on blu and I like this film enough I will buy it.

They did the same thing to Strange Wilderness, not for everbody, but still funny. Both have no Blu-ray release. I dont get why a new movie release wouldnt be released on Blu-ray.

It's possible, but most likely Paramount was going to release it on Blu, but later changed their mind.

Strange Wilderness didn't have a Blu-ray release when it first came out on DVD - that was in the period between when HD DVD died and Paramount started releasing BDs again. Strange Wilderness came out on BD in one of the catch-up waves later in the year.

The Goods not having a BD may be a result of Paramount having financial trouble at the moment. Carriers did not get a BD release either. Shame, as I would have purchased both.

I'm in the same boat as you. Except, I actually didn't even know Carriers (which had such a small release that it was gone before I knew it) was out on video already. It's sad because I wanted to see both of these films but now will have to continue to wait for eventual Blu-ray releases...
