Model #UN46B7100
I'm currently about to pull the trigger and pick this TV up UNLESS somebody can convince me otherwise. I do not have much TV knowledge but here are the reasons I was wanting this particular TV: Its a Samsung, its the size I was looking for, I am really digging that thin look, and finally its internet connectivity. Im just trying to get opinions if this is a good set? |

7100 I think is the best buy exclusive. It is pretty much identical to the 7000s in amazon. You might want to check there for a better deal.
I am sometimes reluctant to go with store exclusives such as in sams and walmart because sometimes it seems they cut corners to lower the price. However, I do not think it is the case with this model. |

Well my Grandparents are picking this TV up today from Best Buy for my Fiance and I as our wedding gift so I will let you guys know what I think. One thing I did notice is that there is no ethernet port, but instead you must purchase a adapter for 70 bucks to receive wireless internet, kind of a pain.

Ok I have a stupid question so please bare with me.
I was in Best Buy the other day and I looked at the Samsung LED. They had it playing King Kong on Blu-Ray. The settings (Color, Brightness, etc.) appeared to be turned basically all the way up. It looked great, but what really caught my eye was the way the frames were moving. It was as if the frame rate was really fast or something. Is that what was going on? Was it the 120hz or what? If so then why would my Panasonic TCP54s1 not look like that when It has 600hz? Last edited by BergerForLife; 12-23-2009 at 08:46 AM. |
