I got a 26" Toshiba hdtv about 2 years and it runs on 1080i. I recently got a Playstation 3 and was shopping for some Blu-Ray movies to start my library with. I noticed however most of the movies showed in the Video Options only 1080p with few (if any) showing 1080i. Does this mean that they only run at a minimum of 1080p or is that the optimum veiwing ability and would the movie play on 1080i?
