The Ruins problem - Blu-ray Forum

The Ruins quit playing on my Sony BDP S360 about halfway through. Tried rebooting the player. Disc is clean, no scratches. Player firmware is up to date. I'm having Netflix send another copy. One thing odd I did notice is that the disc is transparent in that I can see the print on the top side of the disc by looking at the bottom side.
Has anyone ran in to this lockup issue?

Lots of discs are see-through... Sounds like that particular disc is just faulty, I've never ran into any problems with my copy.

Thanks. The replacement disc played fine.
