Member Rankings? - Blu-ray Forum

Hey all, I'm not a newbie at br.com but I didn't know where else to ask this. What is the ranking for the member titles? Meaning the "Senior Member, Power Member, Active Member" etc. I don't really need to know the number of posts to reach each one, I only post when I really want to say something.

But I'd like to know each of the ranks and in what order just for the fun of it.

And, if you want to be real cool (and have been around for awhile), you can PM an Admin and request a "personal" ranking.

I was not aware of that. Too bad, but I really wanted to be a Blu-ray Superhero (my own made-up ranking).

What does the title 'suspended' mean? I'm trading with someone who wears that title and I hope it doesn't mean he's a fraud.

I believe suspended is right before banned. Probably not a good sign.

No it doesn't necessarily mean he's a fraud. It all depends on the reason he was suspended.

Though we're not supposed to discuss suspended/banned members, I suppose it's okay to discuss the status. Suspensions are typically handed-out for semi-minor infractions of the site rules and don't last much more than a week, so I would suspect the guy is legit. If he weren't, and it were known, he'd have the title "BANNED", which (except for a couple very rare instances) means you're gone from the site for good. While suspended, you can still send/receive PMs (I could under my suspension), so I'd PM the guy and check to make sure everything is still going smoothly with your trade.

If he has a high trading score, like someone else said, the suspension is most likely for saying the wrong thing to the wrong person

or it could also be for a pending trade transaction that has gone bad.. but if the person has a high trading score its likely an isolated incident bcuz most high score traders on here are totally legit and good guys
