Manny Corpas: 84 1. No offense to Albert Pujols but he did not have a perfect season by any standards in 2007. Being ranked 100 in a game means you were perfect in the previous season. 2. Jeff Kent? Come on, hes like 40 and he has had declining years since the early 2000s 3. I thought this one was a joke. I thought Ray Durham retired let alone him being the 6th best 2nd baseman. 4. Jimmy Rollins was the NL MVP in 2007, and is questionably the best SS in all of baseball right now 5. Even at his young age, I think Hanley Ramirez has better tools than Jose Reyes. 6. 54 home runs, 156 RBI isnt 99 or 100 worthy? I know hes no good in the playoffs, but that shouldnt matter with rankings 7. Jorge Posada came off his best overall season and it was a pretty good season he should be in the top 3 of catchers 8. Ivan Rodriguez hasnt had a good season in like 3-4 years so how is he the 3rd best catcher? 9. 15-13 is pretty far from a perfect season. He might be reborn in the NL but he is on decline mainly because of a soon to be elbow injury. Can you guess who im talking about? 10. Having Josh Beckett this low is just a joke 11. 2007 CY Young winner CC Sabathia is behind 16 pitchers including Johan Santana Roy Halladay Jake Peavy Roy Oswalt Carlos Zambrano Brandon Webb Chris Carpenter Josh Beckett Felix Hernandez Scott Kazmir Ben Sheets Chien-Ming Wang Aaron Harang Erik Bedard John Lackey Are all of those pitchers really better than a CY young pitcher? Aaron Harang? If these rankings are true, 2k sports should be ashamed. These rankings are not based on 2007 numbers and skills. http://www.gametap.com/home/read/article/3625 Last edited by BLU for Blue; 02-11-2008 at 04:10 AM. |
