My favourite actor of all time is probably Morgan Freeman, but Matt Damon, Tom Hanks, Christian Bale, Brad Pitt, Jack Nicholson and Sylvester Stallone are my other favourites.

No doubt about it, my favourite actress has got to be Angelina Jolie. Katie Holmes and Jessica Alba come close too.

As others have said, Daniel Day-Lewis, absolutely no question about it.

I have to laugh at the list above that omits him but calls Michael Douglas a legend, and Jamie Foxx an icon

She can do anything. She can do it better than anyone else. Her range of emotion is huge and realistic. She can tell a story simply with facial expressions. She is the master of accents.

Can't argue with that! I have enjoyed the amazing ability of both of these actresses in every movie in which I have seen them (exception: Out of Africa with Streep - not her fault, just seems like a so-so movie to me).

Male: Robert Duvall

Worst Godfather movie = the one that Duvall isn't in. Coincidence? No. Imagine how much better it could've been, if Hagen hadn't been written out of the story.

Certainly AP and RdN have been brilliant through their careers but they have also been in some dreadful stuff. Edward Norton has shown he is outstanding when given the right script. But for me the greatest actor since Brando without doubt is Daniel Day Lewis.
