Tiebreaker! Monty Python and the Holy Grail vs. Superbad vs. Young Frankenstein?? - Blu-ray Forum

We have a 3-way tie for the last spot of the comedy genre! Since all 3 of these films garnered 36 votes each for 7th place I will do this poll for 1 day and the winner will advance and collect the last spot for this category. Replys will not count only votes in the poll! The slate is clean and right now its zero to zero to zero!

This is what I will do with tiebreakers from now on to make it fair and give others time to log on. I wont do it for more than a day though. Vote again based on whichever u feel should advance and take the last spot. Not a best of or favorites necessarily but judge each based on overall take on the film or what works best for u. Here we go! Got Em!!

3. Superbad *note: it makes me sick to even put this movie up with the previous two classics. It's funny and all, but shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as the other two*

Young Frankenstein for me. Holy Grail is pretty good but I actually like it least of the three most popular Python movies (Life of Brian>Meaning of Life>Holy Grail). Superbad was decent but it doesn't even come close to the others. Young Frankenstein is Mel Brooks' masterpiece and makes me laugh still as hard as ever.

It's not that I don't like Superbad (I mean, I don't love it, but I don't dislike it), but I'm surprised it's even tied with these other two. Young Frankenstein I can maybe understand, because it might be something a lot of people haven't seen. But how in the world is Holy Grail struggling to even make it into the tournament?

I'd say that's exactly HOW it's going to make it into the tournament.

Any votes that might have gone towards Young Frankenstein will probably be going towards Superbad because people have seen Superbad... and Superbad was filmed in color...
