this is kinda funny.

I walked into Costco yesterday and I flipped out because they had a comparison exhibit near the front.

They weren't hooked up to TV's, but I don't think I've ever seen HD-DVD vs. Blu-Ray receiever set-ups.

And Costco looks like they will turn straight up Blu eventually.

There is nothing but DVD's that are also in Blu ray there- including nothing but Disney movies and there was 1 Best of Blu-Ray disc there: Pirates 1, Pirates 2, Invincible, and one other.

I was in Costco a few weeks ago and they were showing the Blu-ray disc of Superman - The Movie on a large plasma screen. They had the audio cranked with the music blaring, and it stopped customers dead in their tracks. We were all standing around the screen watching it for the longest time. You would have thought it was a new release or something.

Fun.

Yep, the only customers who the "bundles" will appeal to are those that are new to Blu-ray. They are shutting themselves off from most other customers. At least they should stock new "day and date" releases as singles. I'd buy those (unless Target has better Tuesday release day sale prices on them).

https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...ighlight=packs

see I do rock.

but what we have to remember is that the majority of the public are still ''new'' to blu rays. so the four packs are more geared towards the millions and millions who have not yet bought any movies or players.
