When should we start hearing news?

On the CEDIA site it says "Pre-conference activities begin September 4th"

Can we use this as a running thread for CEDIA news? Apologies if one already exists...

So...any speculations as to what is going to be announced? Are we going to see a reasonably priced Blu-ray 1.1 profile player for this holiday season?

Is anybody on the forum going to CEDIA?

I am surprised there hasn't been any info yet. I guess the "Pre-conference" activities didn't include big announcements
