Default Blog from an HD DVD/Microsoft fanboy..

Quote:
Looks like Universal, Paramount and Warner are putting the pressure on the BDA, they've announced 125 HD DVD titles will be released in the last quarter of the year, about 75 of which were previously unannounced.

Nice to see the HD DVD camp actually delivering, which is more than the Blu-ray camp are doing, which is just talking about how amazing they are without actually releasing anything, other than Sony's new $1300 Blu-ray player... Good luck with that one.
I usually cruise on over to this guys blog site for a good laugh at his expense. Lately he's jumped into the format war by choosing HD DVD (no surprise there as he's an MVP for Microsoft) and he's been blogging nonsense about it ever since.

Anyone feel like schooling him on the subject? Feel free.

I told the guy that if he is a European as he makes himself out to be, the IFA announcements should have been more relevant to him and suggested that he might be ignoring them out of disappointment from the lack of announcements on the HD DVD side.

He seems to be angry that most of you commented on his blog? He put a new article opening it with

The zealots, the fanboys and the FUD. The HD DVD camp is made up more of normal people, not these nerds who go around foaming at the mouths when somebody says something they don't like.

Guess he doesn't frequent AVS

Apparently not. His description perfectly describes what goes on there.

I like how he says Sony is all alone in this. I forgot so many companies make players for hd dvd and every movie but sonys comes out on there.

The guy is a John C. Dvorak wannabe. Don't encourage him.
