Default Now I am PISSED OFF.

I have had to deal with Charters SHITTY cable for the past few years. Today was the last straw. The DVR got to 100% full. And FROZE. I can't do anything till I delete shows. Fine. I delete some stuff. Doesn't work. I delete almost all of my shows. STILL DOESNT WORK. Ruins the recordings I ALREADY had too. Nothing is working.

Not only that, but I get such shitty reception. Every episode of every show I watch, it gets interupted and jitters for thirty seconds.

I'm done. I'm done with Charter, an I'm done with watching TV. It just not worth it anymore to get wraped up in shows and have the rug pulle from under them. Broadcast is crap, cable is just home for 1 season of shows while Jersey Shore continues on, and Nielsen is an antiquated shit way of doing the ratings. I'll stick to movies and box sets from now on. Or iTunes season passes.

So you're not gonna watch Supernatural until the BD's come out? Why not just switch to a provider that doesn't suck ass?

Have you called Charters customer service to see if they can reset your DVR?

I feel your pain. I left Charter two years ago, best decision I have ever made. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with, and their customer service....what customer service? There is no such thing with them. They are just rotten.

Yeah, my housemate and I don't pay for cable. Nowadays, you can watch so many TV shows online at like ABC/CBS's websites. With a little bit of creativity, you can find live streams for sports events. Or I can just grab a bud and walk a block to the pub at the end of my street. In our living room, I just have a bunch of Blu-Rays, and my housemate has an Xbox 360 with a Netflix account. Works for us.

While I feel bad for you for all of the problems you mentioned, you are wrong about cable being home for 1 season of shows. Investing in a show on cable is a lot safer than network television.

Charter is ****ing terrible. I put up with their poor service for years. This year was the final straw. I finally switched over to AT&T, which I'm enjoying a great deal.
