My question is how does one join the site a year ago and now decide to make their first post today.

We're you out "experimenting" with HD-DVD? Came to your senses did you.

WELCOME then! Glad to have you aboard mate. Thought you might have been a troll.

My current pre-order for Christmas season are.... Wyatt Earp, Deliverance, Spider-Man, POTC, Blade Runner, Close Encounters, Die Hard, and many others.

Waiting on Matrix, Sergio Leone Trio (Clint Eastwood spaghetti westerns), Dirty Harry

The franchises will probably do well.....some of which are exclusive to Blu....i.e Pirates 1-3, Oceans 11-13, Harry Potter 1-5, Spiderman 1-3, Die Hard 1-4.

Also I'd say Disney's animated offers Meet The Robinsons, Cars, & Ratatouille

Harry Potter and the Kubrick films will be closely watched by Warner...for a good reason!

The most important purchase you can make this holiday season is anything Warner Bros., Harry Potter being the big ticket. Here are my holiday season purchases:

Harry Potter Set
Ocean's Set
Die Hard 1
Simpson's Movie
Spiderman Set
Pirates 3
Cars
Ratatouille
Close Encounters
Blade Runner

my buys (if the wife doesnt kick me out) are:

1) Spiderman boxset (should be making its way from Oz as we speak)
2) Cars
3) Meet the robinsons
4) Wild Hogs (rented at the weekend and really enjoyed so its on order)
5) Ratatouille
6) Die Hards
7) Independance Day
8) Simpsons
9) Pirates @ worlds end

There are others for sure that i might have to wait on due to expense! If Warner brothers would announce the Matrix box set id have that in a heartbeat.. come on warners

Mine left to buy are.
ID, pirates, and Close Encounters.

Since I have already ordered.
Potter box
cars
ratatouille

I am looking foward to testing ID and Close to my LD's. Since the sound on them was so much better than on DVD.

Not much for me...

The Day After Tomorrow [BD]
28 Weeks Later [BD]
Transformers: 2-Disc SE [HD]
Spider-Man: The HD Trilogy [BD]
DBZ: Broly, The Legendary Super Saiyan [BD]
PotC: At World's End [BD]
Lost: The Complete Third Season [BD]

I support blu-ray all the way but I'm sorry, I needed Heroes & Transformers in HD.
