Default Finally Blu-Ray rentals near me

Until now the nearest place to rent blu-ray movies from was over 50 miles from my house. Because of that I have only rented from Netflix. This week a local video store (Video Plus) less than 12 miles from my house started renting blu-ray movies. To the best of my knowledge they are not renting HD-DVD so that's even better. One more small step towards blu-ray victory.

Awesome! Is that a mom and pops place? If so it's good to hear small places are going blu.

my mom and pop's video store, Choice Video is now renting blu's. They had a big window decal with the blu symbol and it said experience REAL HD here. I smiled and then went inside to see a great selection and no hd-dvd. I still won't rent them though, because I love to own every movie that I can.

I just rented my first blu as well. Nowhere in my town carried blu-ray rentals, until that hastings deal. Only $4.99, not bad.

Renting BDs from either Blockbuster or M&Ps is a good idea especially if it's a title you've not seen before. But more importantly, renting BDs as often as you can (for blindbuys) is good because you're showing them that there is money to be made in BD rentals. So keep buying, keep renting!

I finally rented a blu-ray from this place. They only had about 20 but they said the will be getting a lot more soon. Also they have no HD-DVD so there is no place around here to rent HD-DVD. $4.00 is a little expensive considering I average under $1.50 per movie from netflix. But when they get more I will rent once in a while just to help support blu.

I will keep NetFlix also. But I do enjoy the fact that I can go to a local video store any time I want and rent one.
