The movie will explore Wolverine's violent and romantic past, his complex relationship with Victor Creed, aka Sabretooth, as well as his dealings with other mutants. The only other film currently set to open on May 1, 2009 is Disney's animated G-Force. The three previous X-Men movies have grossed more than $1 billion worldwide. Fox is pursuing another X-Men spin-off, based on the character Magneto, played by Ian McKellan in the original movies.

I know that I am not the only one excited about this.

I find it hard to believe that there is a trailer for it yet (I didn't watch the link because I am at work and it is filtered). It may be a teaser, but they haven't started filming the movie yet.

(Anyone else like to laugh uproariously at what fan-Frankensteined fake "trailers" think the eventual movie will be, and then shake their heads at the utter sadness of it?)

with the advent and mass adoption of home editing equipment, I could make "leaked trailers" for just about any damned thing. Leaked trailers toy with our intelligence. Here is a leaked trailer for a movie that has yet to be completely casted, IT IS FROM THE FUTURE.

That video was pretty funny and the teaser used clips from X movies but i'm pretty pumped for this movie.

Could be a fun movie. I'm not a huge fan of the X movies but Hugh Jackman's Wolverine was a great character.

damn i miss the old x-men cartoon now those were the days i wonder why there isnt like a season box set for it or something like that on dvd yet or at least i have never seen it available my whole life i know it was on vhs.

Looks like Fox decided to cut the budget by about $200 million.
