will PS3 get more people into gaming?

Kazuo Hirai mentions an interesting point. since alot of people are probably going to buy the ps3 for blu-ray movie functionality alone, more people might get into gaming. i'm curious if the ps3 will help tie together the (generally older) home theater crowd to the younger gaming crowd. so basically my question is, is there anyone who will purchase the ps3 primarily for movies and get into the gaming aspect because of it? |
