This remake has been threatened for around a decade now. Initially Noami Watts was announced in the Tippi Hedren role.

What would be nice is if they went back to the original Daphne Du Maurier story which is very different from the film, but it will probably one of these worthless scene for scene remakes.

If there isn't a dramatic camera swing around the hero during a particularly tense moment and he doesn't say, "This bird-s**t just got real" I'll be very disappointed.
