Arrow Vincent Price on Blu-ray

I'm a huge fan. I was wondering if there's anyone here who already have a similar thread. I'm curious as to trying to compile a list of any Price Blu-Ray already release.

Here is a list of what is currently available in the U.S. (thanks to member cakefactory for explaining! )

[BD]207223[/BD]BD][/BD]BD]

NOTE: Price only appears as a cameo voice in Abbott And Costello Meet Frankenstein. Price only appears in the Batman episodes with Egg Head. Price only has a cameo in Scavenger Hunt. In the Invisible Man set, Price only appears in the 2nd movie in this set, The Invisible Man Returns.Price only appears in the movie, The Tower of London, in the Universal Horror Collection, Vol. III. In the Fly Collection, Price appears only in the first Fly (1958) and Return of the Fly (1959) movies.

Note: Below is a list of exactly what Price movies are included in each of the 3 Vincent Price Collections.

contains the following Blu-ray movies:

I also own: Mad Magician, Madhouse, Twice Told Tales, Tales of Terror, Monster Club, From a Whisper to a Scream, Theatre of Blood, House of the Long Shadows, House of Wax, The Fly, The Oblong Box, Edward Scissorhands, The egghead episodes from batman. I also own a vincent price episode from Night Gallery. Everything is on blu ray except for Night Gallery.

I own all of Vincent Price's movies that are available on Blu-ray, except for Scavenger Hunt, where he is featured in a cameo. I'll probably grab that one soon.

45 of the Blu-rays in my collection star Price.

There are only a handful of Vincent Price horror films left that have not made it to Blu-ray (The Tingler being one of them), so it's just a matter of time.

I'll have to get that disc. I have their release of Night/Curse of the Demon and it is really great. The Tingler is one of the few major horror/sci-fi titles of that era I still haven't seen.

You can get an approximation of Vincent Price releases by just looking at releases that have him tagged with the US filter on:

https://www.blu-ray.com/Vincent-Price/67103/#Bluray

Any thread about him has the issue that it would probably include the serious films that have him in a tiny role. I think many of us are interested mainly in all the horror/sci-fi/fantasy where he's in "Vincent Price" mode.

Minor Spoiler:

Vinnie does a surprise cameo in BEACH PARTY (but it isn't on Blu-ray yet).

Absolutely love Vincent Price.

The prize of my Blu-ray collection ( probably tied with the Halloween 15 disc box set) is Scream's Vincent Price Collection I. I just wish it would somehow ( I realize there are film right's issues preventing this right now) come back in print.

I've got a bunch of Price on Blu: Vincent Price Collection Vol. I, II, III, Laura, House of Wax 3D, The Bat, Tales of Terror, Mad House, The Oblong Box, Twice Told Tales and House of The Long Shadows.

I just ordered Theatre of Blood from Twilight Time due to their March Madness sale (it runs one more day, through March 31 if anyone is interested... $19.95).

I'll eventually get Mad Magician.

Hope any remaining Price is released on Blu soon. I can't believe The Tingler hasn't been released yet. Someone has to get on that ASAP.

I randomly saw this a few months ago on TCM... and was shocked when he randomly appeared! Very cool!

Wow, was this really not a thread already?

That's a hell of an oversight, actually.

I have a Vincent Price-related story. My parents live in Albuquerque (I live in Denver) and I was visiting them last year. I walk into a grocery store and Price's son and daughter are in there shopping together. I recognized Price's son because I'd seen him speak before and recognized his daughter from various interviews she's given on her dad. I work up the nerve to walk over to them and introduce myself. The one question I had was what their favorite Vincent Price movie is. His son told me "Theatre of Blood" and his daughter told me "Laura". They could not have been nicer and more appreciative of my enthusiasm for their dad's work.

Oh wow. Confessions Of An Opium Eater. I saw that on the big screen last year courtesy of Joe Dante. He curated a selection of films for a theatre here. What a blast that was. Opium Eater is a strange film, certainly not designed to please everyone. I thought about picking up the dvd but held off thinking they might upgrade that to blu-ray. In some ways it could be seen as a sort of pre-cursor to Big Trouble In Little China, but not nearly as slick. Plot-wise however, there are several similarities. The beginning of the film is a full-on action scene that goes on for several minutes without any dialogue. Really kinda threw me off actually. There's also a drug-fueled hallucination sequence in that movie that really stands out. A strange oddity, this film. Yes, I love it.

I think it's Warner Archives that released the MOD of CONFESSIONS OF AN OPIUM EATER. Their print actually has the original title. All other prints of it that I saw over the years, including one I screened in 16mm, bore the alternate title SOULS FOR SALE. The MOD's cover art is pretty great.

Yeah, the cover art is from the memorable one-sheet poster for the film. Every one of the MGM M.O.D. DVD-R's that I got with Price ended up getting released on Blu-ray, so hopefully OPIUM EATER will follow suit.

Exactly, which is why I held off. I felt burned when I bought their editions of The Incredible Melting Man and Rolling Thunder only for those to get proper blu-ray releases.

You probably already know this is on the Vincent Price Collection III Blu-ray set... but just wanted to make sure in case

Definitely a different movie than from Price's horror genres... but I liked it when I watched it. A fun flick.
