screen goes completely black - Blu-ray Forum

after 7 pluse hours straight ps3 stays on but screen goes black. i will have an mp3 playing on the background and it stop as soon as the screen goes black .the tv will stay on.both green and blue lights stay on. has this happened to any one else.

Are you sure it's not a screensaver setting?

does it have a screensave other then the dimmer?

Hmmm. Depending on how you have it set up, check your cables. Also, does restarting it help? If it stays black after restarting, try holding down the power button until it beeps twice.
