i realised what it is that i love most about Blu-ray

obviously the clarity, sound, picture, technical space...all that aside though, its given me a chance to rediscover movies i love but would normally not watch and to fall in love with them again.

the fly, the kubrick collection, even some of the cheesy action flicks that defined our time, all these flicks look and sound amazing on blu-ray and it gives us all a chance to rediscover movies, especially for the newer generation.

what with the massive amount of movies available on dvd, its hard to dig thru and remember older classics, but im glad i got to blu-ray from the start so i can have more time to dig through and truly enjoy alot of these flicks.

sorry for the rant, was just a thought after i saw the predator thread.

ps cant wait for predator on blu-ray
