Awesome! I kept looking at the artwork to make sure that it was indeed a a blu-ray set and not a DVD set.

I kept hoping Indicator would do a "Rita Hayworth At Columbia" box set but this will do. I hope this will include mostly movies new to blu-ray.

Well, at this time, the amazon link doesn't say which movies will be in the set, and I wasn't able to find much information on it. However, since the amazon link lists the actors as Hayworth, Sinatra, Welles and Novak, we can assume that 'Lady from Shanghai' and 'Pal Joey' will be included. 'Lady' has already received a Mill Creek blu release, and 'Pal' is included in one of their dvd sets. It also received a limited edition blu release on Twilight Time.

Checking over the Mill Creek site, they have several dvd multi-feature combo releases which include a number of Hayworth's movies. This doesn't mean that these movies will be included in the upcoming set, but it is likely that at least some of them will. They are:

Angels Over Broadway
Music in My Heart
Down to Earth
Tonight and Every Night
Miss Sadie Thompson (had a limited Twilight Time release)
You’ll Never Get Rich (had a limited Twilight Time release)
They Came to Cordura (had a previous Mill Creek blu release)

I wonder if Mill Creek would be willing to do a similar set for Jack Lemmon's Columbia movies (Phffft, It Should Happen To You, Good Neighbor Sam, Under The Yum Yum Tree, The Notorious Landlady, Operation Mad Ball, You Can't Run Away From It, Three For The Show, and The Wackiest Ship In The Army).

'Lady from Shanghai' and 'They Came to Cordura' are already out through MC, the latter as a double feature which looks every bit a sharpened DVD era upscale. With TT out, the same masters used for TT titles may be given to MC which is not saying much in terms of quality. In typical MC fashion, this will be no more than 4 discs - which means.......

(will eat a sheet of cardboard if its 6)

Fantastic news! I've been really digging the stuff of hers that's aired on TCM's Summer Under the Stars so this is an excellent surprise. Although I do wonder where Cover Girl could have landed? I never saw Twilight Time's transfer which apparently left much to be desired but the most recent airing of it on TCM looked pretty fantastic so here's hoping a new scan has been done and it's with someone else.

There's been a newer master of "Cover Girl" since the Twilight Time release. Eureka's release from 2017 features it.
