I don't think it's going to be a big hit at all anyways. People have been putting movies on their ipods without this for years. They don't need this.

I bet more people want their films on personal computers, than on postage-stamp sized handhelds.

What the OP means is that Hitman will come with a second data disc (DVD) containing a digital copy of Hitman that can be kept on your computer. Hitman will be the first Blu-Ray release to do this.

Live Free or Die Hard also had this, but only on the special edition DVD set.

Digital Copies are no good if they came on a BD, since very, very few people have BD drives in their computers. Luckily, these Digital Copies are being made available on standard DVDs.

I think $39 for a movie is ridiculous especially when I have no use for the 2nd disc .Hopefully Fox will lower the price or put out a single disc edition if it doesn't sell well

Sony has already said that BD titles released later this year will have a digital copy for portable devices (PSPs).

The price of this title is the same MSRP as all Fox releases. The price at Amazon should be just under $28 just like all of the Fox titles. I wish they would change their price structure, especially since they charge this for catalog titles as well, but they are not raising the price for the DVD with the digital copy.

This seems like a waste of time to me. basically you are then being forced to buy a product whether you have any need for it or not. No doubt this will impact upon the price of a BD... Especially in Rip Off Britain!!!

I personally think its a waste. If I buy a movie on Blu I would only want to watch it on my big screen with my Blu Ray player. not some digital copy on my PC or Ipod.

I'm gonna use it! I don't like paying $10-15 on itunes for one and and downloading them off limewire or torrents is a hassle and a risk.

FOX discs *already* cost $39.99, it's just that the stores don't bother trying to sell them for that price. They're always $27.95 on release day at Walmart or Amazon.com, and sometimes Best Buy(though at BB, they go up to like $35 the next week).

The digital copy will not add anything or effect pricing in any way, even if it's on a seperate DVD in the case. Calm down
