Panasonic DMP-BD30 wont play blu-rays just regular dvd's - Blu-ray Forum

It was playing fine but two days ago it started locking up or refusing to play a blu-ray disc. Now it wont play any blu-rays but it will play all my regular dvd's. i get the "no read" message which is suppose to mean disc is unplayable or dirty. i tried all 10 of my blu-ray discs, some new and all very clean and unscratched. only had the player for a month and yes i updated the firmware. i also made sure that everything in the setup was correct and that i had no restrictions on playing discs. Any one else have this problem and how did you solve it. going to call panasonic tomorrow and hopefully they can help.

Sounds like the blu laser died

Call Panasonic, your deck is still under full warranty for repair
