Ken Kutaragi was right - Blu-ray Forum

We are at E3 2005 and Ken Kutaragi announced that the PS3 will carry a Blu-ray Player since that day the days of HD-DVD was counted, it was the beginning of a final countdown for the HD-DVD, a countdown which was finished this week, Ken kutargi was right, the Blu-ray is the key to success and the Playstation 3 was the key to the success of Blu-ray.

I miss Ken. At least he is working on the PS4. I can only imagine what he has up his sleeve for this one.

Of course they are. Can't blame the man for wanting to push the boundaries of technology. I thought that was what innovation was all about. Not just a rehash of something else with attaching cheap parlor tricks. I digress, sorry.

this is just how i feel the man is innovative, to quote an interview nexgenaration magazine did with ken kutaragi back in 2001

ng:yes but xbox isn't even out yet. after all,it took even some of sony's best developers a year to get ps2 product up and-

this interview is still revalent today, he feels just because a system is easy to make games on that dont mean the games will be good. the ps3 is hard to program for yes but that will force creativity to try something new, if everything was so easy in the world,why bother trying something new? something different?. and somebody else posted in a ken kutaragi thread( thers alot of these poping up now) he quoted jfk he said we choose to go to the moon not because its easy but because its hard.
